The brief we set ourselves: could a seated dinner hold the concentration of a theatre? The answer was to make the table itself the stage: a white canvas framed in light, with the artist suspended above it.
Why it works
Guests in ponchos, wine poured, and a painting growing in real time between the plates. Nobody checks a phone when paint is moving. The circular seating means every guest watches every other guest watching, so attention compounds.
The finished canvas becomes the artefact of the night: proof that the moment happened, signed by everyone's presence.
This is a concept study. The imagery is conceptual and generated to brief; the mechanics of sightlines, timing, protection and the reveal are real production design.
